DIY Your Own Fat Loss Inspiration

Old Clothes, Old Size; New Clothes, New Size

What a better way of inspiring yourself to work harder than organizing your closet! Yesterday, I tried on EVERYTHING I OWN. Boy did that take some time ;). I made two piles: 1. Didn’t fit properly & 2. I would never wear again. This week I am going to donate/try to sell these clothes. Anyways, trying on clothes in your closet is a great way to keep yourself motivated! I own one pair of pants that used to be my favourite, but now they are too tight. I hold onto those pants at the front of my closet in hopes of getting down to that size again. Non-stretch pants are a good way to judge whether you have shrunk in size, without using the scale. However, I’m not keeping all of my too small clothes because I think those goals are in the past….too unrealistic. Instead, sort through your closet and purge whatever doesn’t suit you anymore. This will make finding clothes in the morning easier. Also, the empty space is a nice reminder that when you reach your goal weight/size, you can go shopping for a whole new assortment of clothes 🙂

March break cleanup:

Organized my clothes by season wear, cut, style and colour.

  1. I have to do this! The task of trying on everything and then figuring out what to keep vs. toss is daunting, but your post is a great reminder.
